These alpacas are certainly getting in the mood for Valentine’s Day at Wirral’s Church Farm.
Farmers at the award-winning tourist attraction captured the pair apparently puckering up for a quick kiss.
Farmer Steve Ledsham, who has owned the family-run attraction, in Thurstaston, for the past 24 years, said: “They are pretty close and you often see them cuddling up to each other in their field but on this particular day, we got lucky and seemed to catch them kissing.
“It certainly seemed appropriate in the run up to Valentine’s Day.”
As well as meeting the smooching alpacas, young guests can also spot the farm’s other resident animals, including pygmy goats, the famous three-legged pig, meerkats, Shetland ponies and Highland cows plus many more.
And if the weather takes a turn there is still plenty to enjoy from tractor rides to the indoor play area.
Customers can also enjoy goat-feeding, egg-collecting, rabbit-cuddling or simply enjoying magnificent views of North Wales and the River Dee.
There are also home-grown, organic vegetables for sale in the farm shop as well as delicious treats for both adults and children alike in the café, complete with log burning stove for a cosy coffee after a busy day on the farm.
Church Farm is open every day throughout the school holidays, from February 18-26 10am-5pm.
Tickets cost £4.50 for adults, under 3s £3.50, over 3s £4 and chilldren under one year old go free. Family admission (2 adults and 2 children) is £16.
