Man to appear in court after firearms incident in West Kirby

A 51-year-old man is due to appear in court today in connection with a firearms incident in West Kirby.

Andrew Gosling, of Ley Croft, Hatton, Derby has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence; possession of a firearm with a barrel less than 30cm and overall length less than 60cm (an air weapon); and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.

The charges relate to an incident on Victoria Road, West Kirby on Wednesday (27 September) afternoon.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today (Friday, 29 September 2017).
