Fundraisers armed with glow sticks are to take part in a twilight walk from West Kirby to Hoylake and back, in aid of Wirral Hospice St John’s.

Glow with the Flow takes place on Friday 12 October, raising essential funds for the care and support of patients and their loved ones at the Clatterbridge-based charity.

The five mile circular stroll leaves Tanskeys Bistro at around 7pm and is open to women, men, children and dogs.

Billy Howard from Wirral Hospice St John’s said: “There’s always a lot of love, laughter and glow power when you join Wirral Hospice St John’s wonderful Wirral walkers on our annual Glow with the Flow walk!

“Please feel free to dress up in your brightest coats and fleeces to help us glow, and we’ll bring the glow sticks. It’s for all the family, and your dogs too.

“A suggested donation between £5 and £7 for everyone over the age of eight will help Wirral Hospice St John’s to continue to provide our specialist care services free of charge for our patients and their loved ones.”

Entry costs £15 for adults aged over 18, £7 for young people over the age of eight and is free of charge for younger children and dogs. Glow sticks are provided for every walker.
