A series of events are taking place in West Kirby this weekend to remember all those who lost their lives during conflict.

The annual Remembrance Sunday service takes place at the war memorial on Grange Hill, in West Kirby, from 10.30am.

A number of roads will also be closed for a parade following the service. The parade will leave Grange Old Road at 11.30am and pass the Concourse.

On Saturday, West Kirby Museum’s WW1 exhibition takes place at St Bridget’s Centre from 10am – 4pm, including history talks, displays and a chance to view a database of all local men who died in WW1.
