Merseyrail will operate a 20 minute service on the West Kirby line from Monday 14 February.

Staffing numbers were impacted by the Covid Omicron variant, resulting in a reduction to a 30-minute timetable in January.

However, the reducing number of cases now means there has been an increase in staff availability, enabling them to increase the number of services.

Trains will run three times an hour until 7pm, departing West Kirby at 16, 36 and 56 minutes past the hour.

The West Kirby bound train will leave Moorfields at 06, 26 and 46 minutes past the hour.

There will be a 30 minute service of an evening and all day on a Sunday.
