Shed thieves target West Kirby

Residents in West Kirby are being warned to lock up their sheds after a spate of thefts in the area.

In the most recent incident a white and green Diamondback mountain bike was stolen from a shed Ain Dunraven Road at around 3.40pm on Monday 30 May.

A purple and red mountain bike was taken from a shed in Westbourne Road, between midnight May 1 and 11am on Monday May 2.

Between 8pm on Monday 2 May and 7am on Tuesday 3 May there was a break-in at a shed in the same road but nothing was taken and between 4pm on Monday 9 May and 3pm on Tuesday 10 May an attempt was made to break into a shed, also in Westbourne Road.

Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information about any of the incidents is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
