West Kirby Christmas Lights is appealing for people to make sure they donate to help them light up our town this festive season.

They are currently short of their fundraising target, which covers installation and storage costs, insurance and the replacement of fairy lights and frames which have reached the end of their life.

Chair Rachel Kehoe told us: “The volunteers are hard at work raising the money to install the Christmas lights.

“We are currently short of our fundraising target and need more donations in order to light all of the lampposts and trees and install the big Christmas tree.
