The Railway pub in Meols has closed for refurbishment.
The Hungry Horse pub, operated by Greene King, is receiving a six figure investment, and will reopen its doors next month when the work is complete.
A Greene King spokesperson said: “Planned works include significant upgrades to the pub’s interior with new furniture, carpets and décor to provide a more comfortable dining experience for guests, while the toilets will undergo a full refurbishment to ensure a more modern look.
“The Railway’s sports offering will also be revamped with improved TV screens throughout the venue, showcasing the latest live fixtures on Sky Sports and TNT Sports.
“Outside, the Railway’s garden area will receive new outdoor furniture and fencing to create a welcoming spot for visitors looking to enjoy an alfresco tipple.”
