Hoylake Sailing Club is holding a bonfire and fireworks display on Friday 4 November, raising money for the RNLI.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm, with the fireworks starting at around 6.45pm, on the beach opposite the clubhouse.
In a statement on their Facebook page, the club said: “The club bar will be open from approximately 5.00pm and hot food and drinks will also be available including burgers and hot dogs.
“The event has once again been kindly sponsored by Kids Planet Hoylake and there will be a collection on the evening by Hoylake & West Kirby RNLI.
“We hope to see you there for the return of this popular community event.”
West Kirby Sailing Club recently announced it has cancelled this year’s event for public safety reasons, due to the flood wall work on the promenade. It is urging people to attend the Hoylake event.
Budget cuts mean there are no council-organised firework displays in Wirral this year.
