Police are investigating an incident outside The Dee Hotel in Grange Road, West Kirby at the weekend.
Officers received a report of a man carrying a baseball bat outside the pub at around 2.40am on Sunday morning, following an alleged disturbance.
Police patrols went to the scene and arrested a 19 year-old man from Noctorum. “He has been bailed pending further enquiries,” a police spokesman said.
