A new tapas restaurant is to open on the former site of Milan the Restaurant on Banks Road.
The Tapas Kitchen will serve a Spanish-inspired menu and is set to open in October after renovation work completes on the current site.
The restaurant is the brainchild of Colin Gordon, who is also a volunteer RNLI crew member for Hoylake Lifeboat, and chef Phil Rodgers, who have worked together for the past 20 years.
Colin said: “We are using the finest Spanish produce from a Spanish supplier with Spanish craft beers and gins as well as using local suppliers like Tappers Gin and Peerless Brewery too.”
The Tapas Kitchen is the latest restaurant to open in the burgeoning foodie scene in West Kirby following the recent openings of Wolf & Lamb, Est and the re-launch of West 34 as Wirral’s only seafood restaurant.
