A planning application has been submitted to transform a well-known West Kirby venue into a Costa Coffee.
The award-winning Wro Lounge, on Grange Road, closed its doors earlier this month and plans have now emerged that it will be transformed into a branch of the national coffee chain.
The application was submitted to Wirral Council on January 3rd to allow Costa Coffee to install new signs on the building.
The team behind The Wro Lounge made the shock announcement that the popular venue would be closing at the beginning of January.
However, their second venue, The Wro Bar and Loft continues to go from strength to strength, with exciting new menus and themed nights planned for 2018.
