A makers market is coming to West Kirby, featuring a variety of handcrafted goods by talented makers.

Local makers, bakers and candle makers will be descending on St. Andrew’s Church Hall in West Kirby between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 16th October, Saturday 13th November and Saturday 11th December.

There will be 20 stalls for people to browse and shop and everyone will be able to meet the makers themselves, find out more about their products and get their hands on some unique pieces of work.

Merseyside Makers was created in December 2020 to provide an online marketplace for local makers from across Merseyside to showcase their items and be part of a growing community of local artisans.

Owner Elliott O’Callaghan said: “Merseyside Makers is all about small businesses and these markets are a great way to shop small and support local people this year.

“There will be handmade candles, home fragrances, jewellery, decorative wooden items, original artwork and lots more.

“No two markets will be the same with a range of makers attending different markets, so it’s worth a visit to see what’s new each month.”

The market will also feature a makers café, where people can relax and enjoy a cup of tea and cake.
