The West Kirby Christmas lights switch-on takes place on Saturday 19 November at the Concourse.
The family fun starts at 4:30pm with music, rides and stalls before the big switch-on at 6.30pm.
Pupils from West Kirby Primary School will be singing Christmas carols.
The lights are funded through donations, street collections and lamp post sponsorship by local residents and businesses, organised by volunteers from West Kirby Christmas Lights.
Rachel Kehoe from West Kirby Christmas Lights told us: “We are very excited about our switch-on event this Saturday.
“We have lots of fun in store, including children’s rides, toys, refreshments and live music.
“We are very lucky that Santa is joining us all the way from Lapland to switch on the lights with Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Jeff Green.
“Children can meet Santa and give him their letters in the grotto in Home Instead.
“We hope to see you all there!”
