The swimming pool at West Kirby Concourse will be closed for three weeks from Monday 12 December for essential maintenance.
Wirral Council says the work includes the upgrade and replacement of the circulation pipework and associated equipment and structural works in pool balance tank.
The grating around the pool deck will also be renewed, and cosmetic improvements will be made if time allows.
A notice for pool users states: “Not all of the works undertaken will be visible but will have a huge impact in terms of longevity for the operation of this very well used facility”.
Customers are advised to use alternative pools at Leasowe, Guinea Gap, Europa Pools and the Oval leisure centres.
The pool is due to reopen on Tuesday 3 January.
The rest of the Concourse, including the gym, is unaffected and will remain open as usual.
