The Quirky Cafe in Hoylake is throwing open its doors to local people who are on their own or struggling on Christmas Day.

The cafe, located just off Market Street, will be serving up free Christmas dinners to eat in or be delivered – but they must be booked in advance.

The Quirky Cafe is part of The Life Tree, a community interest company that supports vulnerable people.

Owner Suzanne Rippon told West Kirby Today: “The Christmas lunches are for anyone who might be struggling, alone, families or single.

“We are just so lucky to have a amazing community so that we are able to offer Christmas lunches and gifts for anyone who would like to join us.

“We would just like people to call the cafe if they have someone to nominate, or if they would like to come along themselves.

“If they would just like to come and join us for a mince pie and a chat that’s great too. We will be having lunch with all the trimmings, and games.”

To book, contact The Quirky Cafe on 0151 632 1103.
