Plans have been submitted to convert a detached house opposite Caldy Hill into three apartments.
Winova Properties wants to partially demolish and extend 52 Caldy Road to create three bedroom flats.
A design and access statement submitted to Wirral Council by Ainsley Gommon architects states: “The proposals involve the partial demolition and extension of an existing large three storey dwelling to be converted into three apartments, with associated parking and landscaping.
“The redevelopment of this existing residential site will provide much needed additional homes to the area.
“The proposed development will provide a different type of accommodation to those currently on the market in the nearby vicinity. Accessible apartments could be appropriate for residents wanting to down size from the larger homes in the surrounding neighbourhood.”
The application says the trees that surround the entrance to the site will be retained and the existing entrance to the site will remain the same, retaining the existing stone pillars and wall, with parking spaces created.
