Hoylake and West Kirby RNLI are giving people a chance to step aboard their lifeboats and meet their volunteer crews.
The Meet and Greet Day is taking place on Saturday 19 August from 10am – 4pm at Hoylake Lifeboat Station.
Visitors will have the chance to tour Hoylake’s all-weather Shannon class lifeboat and Inshore Rescue Hovercraft and West Kirby’s inshore IB1 lifeboat.
The stations’ launch and recovery vehicles will also be on display, including Hoylake’s Shannon Launch and Recovery System and West Kirby’s Hagglund BV206 launch vehicle, which is the only vehicle of its kind based on station in the RNLI.
To help raise money for their lifesaving work, a range of RNLI gifts, souvenirs and refreshments will be available,
