Wirral Entrepreneur’s network will meet for their final event of 2023 on Tuesday 14 November.
It’s a friendly, informal event, designed to connect local professionals and help them generate business.
It takes place at Leaf on Black Horse Hill, is free to attend, and organisers say it books up fast.
The network has met six times since launching in May. It’s built a core group of regulars, who meet every month, to chat with other local business people over a cuppa, with new faces attending every time.
Organiser, freelance creative consultant Gillian Torres, said: “When I moved to West Kirby last year I couldn’t find an informal business networking event in the area, so I set one up. It’s been really well received. The number of bookings increases every month and October’s event sold out – so I encourage people to register for November’s meeting as soon as possible!
“I’ve been introduced to, and used, loads of local businesses that I wouldn’t otherwise have known about. I know other people have too. And it provides a place for people living and working in the community to get to know one another.
“This isn’t the first network I’ve built. The key to success with an event like this is to make sure it’s welcoming, enjoyable and low-pressure. So you can drop into a Wirral Entrepreneurs Network event for half an hour, or come for the full two hours.
“Some people stay at Leaf for lunch afterwards. You can sit and chat to one person, or mingle your way through the whole room. I’m there greet you when you arrive, and I’ll introduce you to people if you’re feeling nervous. Plus, it takes place during school hours, to make it easy for parents.”
Wirral Entrepreneurs Network meets in the event space, upstairs at Leaf on Black Horse Hill. Everything’s free – including the parking – other than drinks and snacks.
November’s event is sponsored by local, independent business Dast Mortgages. Guests will have opportunity to meet Ammy Bining, founder of Dast, and discuss all things financial planning.
