Thousands of bikers will ride through Meols, Hoylake and West Kirby for the Wirral Egg Run tribute ride on Sunday 17 March.

They will meet at the dips on Coastal Drive in New Brighton, setting off at 11am, heading to Claremont Farm for music, food and drink.

They will travel 20 miles through Wallasey Village, Moreton, Hoylake, West Kirby, Caldy, Heswall and Clatterbridge.

The event is raising money for Claire House Children’s Hospice, North West Air Ambulance, and Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes.

People can donate cash, pyjamas, Easter eggs and toys for children across the region at the dips or at Claremont Farm.
