More than £1,100 has been raised for the RNLI in West Kirby thanks to local business and the Liverpool Bay Falcon Association.

The Falcon is a boat which is sailed at local sailing clubs, and the organisation recently secured prizes from 36 firms which were used in a raffle at their Annual Cocktail Party. The Falcon is a boat which is sailed at local sailing clubs.

David Wright, President of the Liverpool Bay Falcon Association said: “[Our member] Terri Atkinson did a tremendous job collecting prizes, and the Falcons are extremely grateful to those business owners for their support.”

The cheque was presented to the West Kirby RNLI by the association at its recent open day.
