The Wro and Wirral Masonic Luncheon Club have given a family set of CPR manikins to West Kirby lifeboat station.
The training equipment will enable the crews to practice their resuscitation skills.
They are Bluetooth-enabled, meaning they can provide real-time feedback on compression rate, depth, hand placement and ventilation efficiency.
The set includes adult, child and infant manikins, enabling the crew to practise a wide range of scenarios, and will be shared with Hoylake, New Brighton and Flint RNLI stations.
The donation was made possible through the former owners of The Wro, Sally and Howie Boyd, together with Alan Bates and Guy Morris, on behalf of the Wirral Masonic Luncheon Club.
Andy Brown, from West Kirby RNLI Launch Authority, said: “We’re always very humbled by the local community’s continued support and would like to thank The Wro and the Wirral Masonic Luncheon Club for their generosity in gifting this training equipment.
“The RNLI and West Kirby lifeboat station are dependent not only on their dedicated volunteers within the organisation, but also on the support of you, our community, so thank you.
“The CPR family set will play an important role in future training exercises, keeping us prepared for all scenarios out at sea and on land within our community. We again thank Sally, Howie, Alan and Guy and the wider community for their generosity.”
