A man has been charged with causing death by careless driving after a woman in her 80s died following an incident in Hoylake more than two years ago.
Just before 6.45pm on Wednesday 11 January 2023, Merseyside Police were called to a report of a collision on Market Street involving a pedestrian and a blue Saab.
Ana Marcroft, aged 83, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Garry Dow, aged 43, of Kington Road in West Kirby, appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Monday 17 March and is due before Liverpool Crown Court for a pre-trial plea hearing on 14 April.
