A multi-million pound Hollywood-style home in Caldy which was won by a young couple in a national prize draw is up for sale.
Rock Mount on Thorsway was won by Lauren Keene from Gloucester in last November’s Omaze house draw.
A video online shows her and her partner viewing the property, which has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a cinema room and an outdoor swimming pool. It was nominated for a RIBA architecture award when it was constructed in 2013.
Lauren told Omaze: “Only last week we were viewing houses we thought we could never afford, but now our first property is a £3m mansion! It’s crazy to think we’ll never have a mortgage!”
Omaze said the winner would receive a £250k budget “to help them settle in”, or alternatively rent it out for an estimated £8,000 a month, or can sell up “walking away a multi-millionaire”.
Now it is now up for sale for £2.5 million with Home estate agents in West Kirby, who describe it as “an architectural masterpiece tucked away off the most prestigious address” and a “truly incredible home with stunning views.”
