West Kirby Concourse swimming pool reopens on Saturday 28 June.
The pool had to be drained and scaffolding erected for it to be inspected.
The council says it has also taken the opportunity to carry out refurbishment work, including repairs to the pool’s plant equipment and lockers, cleaning ducts and pipes, and a deep clean.
Cllr Ian Lewis, chair of the tourism, communities and leisure committees, said: “I’d like to thank swimmers and clubs for their patience, along with staff at the Concourse who have responded to enquiries from the public since this emergency work started, as well as staff in our other leisure centres who have welcomed some of the displaced swimmers.”
Public swimming resumes at 9am on Saturday 28 June with swimming lessons returning from Monday 30 June.
