Hoylake Chamber Concert Society launch new season of concerts

Hoylake Chamber Concert Society are launching their 98th season of concerts on September 29 at 7.30pm, at St Hildeburgh’s Parish Church.

The society has been bringing classical music to the Wirral for almost 100 years.

Their annual series of six concerts, which has been interrupted only by the Second World War and the COVID-19 pandemic, has seen internationally renowned world-class musicians and ensembles visit the peninsula.

Some recent highlights have included concerts by the Endellion String Quartet, Manchester Collective, and the Chiaroscuro Quartet, along with performances by young rising stars such as the Mithras Trio, the Simply Quartet from Vienna, Quatuor Agate from Paris, and the Connaught Brass Quintet.

Based at St Hildeburgh’s Parish Church in Hoylake, Hoylake Chamber Concert Society prides itself in celebrating established and world-famous musicians, supporting the development of young artists, and making outstanding Classical chamber music accessible to an ever-wider audience.

Hoylake Chamber Concert Society’s 2025-26 programme of six concerts features outstanding international musicians and a range of ensembles and soloists, so come and discover the joy of chamber music!

29 September 2025: Amiri Harewood (piano)

27 October1 2025: Quartetto Noûs (string quartet)

24 November 2025: Quatuor Agate (string quartet)

23 February 2026: Trio Archai (piano trio)

23 March 2026: Gerard Flotats (cello) & Julian Chan (piano)

27 April 2026: Perpetuo (piano quartet)

All concerts are held at St Hildeburgh’s Church, Hoylake, at 7.30pm.
