Now in it’s 29th year, the Wirral Bazaar will open its doors once again this November, to raise thousands of pounds for North West Cancer Research.
Taking place on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th November at the Walled Garden Marquee, Thornton Manor, the annual shopping spectacular brings together an abundance of carefully selected stalls from across the country, offering a variety of unique and beautiful Christmas gifts, with something for everyone, including luxury candles and home fragrances, men’s and ladies’ clothing, home accessories, children’s toys and a wide selection of food and drink.
Last year’s Bazaar attracted over 3500 visitors, and raised a fantastic £41,000 for North West Cancer Research, our local independent cancer research charity which funds research into those cancers which are most prevalent in the North West of England and North Wales, such as skin and throat & neck cancers.
The Bazaar gives shoppers the unique opportunity to donate to charity whilst doing their Christmas shopping, as stallholders donate 10% of their takings directly to NWCR. In addition, the £5 entry fee and all profits from the catering go directly to NWCR as well. It’s guilt free shopping!
The Bazaar is organised by a small but dedicated volunteer committee, their wonderful army of friends and family, and supported by corporate sponsor The Mitchell Group, whose long term support has ensured the continuing success of the Bazaar.
Majestic, West Kirby will once again be supporting us on the Tuesday evening by serving prosecco, red and white wine – all monies going straight to the charity – and visitors will be entertained by SingMeMerseyside, Birkenhead School Chamber Choir and the Bazaar’s resident saxophonist Dick Neal.
This year’s Wirral Bazaar will take place in the Walled Garden Marquee at Thornton Manor on Tuesday 5th November from 2pm till 8.30pm and Wednesday 7th November from 9.30am till 3pm.
The Bazaar is all on one level and under one roof, so excellent for anyone who needs easy access.
