A search is under way for a new occupier for the former Est Italian restaurant in West Kirby.
The unit, on Banks Road, has been empty since March, when it closed suddenly, blaming a massive bill for repairs and redecoration from the landlord.
However Star Pubs, which leased the site, told West Kirby Today it had provided “guidance and financial help” to the restaurant.
Now the site is being marketed as Hilbre Court by Fleurets for a guide rent of £48,000 per year.
Tim Martin, Fleurets Divisional Director, said: “Hilbre Court offers a great opportunity for new tenants to establish a successful business in a vibrant and desirable location.
“Given the high demand for hospitality in West Kirby, there is excellent potential for this property to continue trading as a bar or bistro.
“However, we are open to considering a range of alternative uses depending on the proposals received.”
