Hoylake lifeboat has received a wedge of cash thanks to a golf club captain’s fundraising drive.
Last year, Childwall Golf Club ladies captain Catherine Lewis-Jones chose the RNLI as her nominated charity at the annual Captain’s Drive.
The £5,000 raised from collection boxes and fundraising activities have now been presented to the lifesaving organisation.
Brian Jordan, Hoylake RNLI Lifeboat Visits Officer (pictured above with Catherine) said: “Thank you Catherine for nominating the RNLI as your chosen charity and raising such a wonderful total.
“We would like to give additional thanks to all members of the Childwall Golf Club for their support.”
