‘Cost of Giving’ music festival taking place this weekend

A three-day live music festival is getting under way on Friday 2 December, raising money for food banks.

West Kirby Live has organised the ‘Cost of Giving’ event, at venues across the town, with money raised going to Wirral Food Bank.

There will be more than 70 performances in nine different locations.

The times and venues are:

Friday 2 December

  • Grand Ave – 5pm
  • West Kirby Arts Centre – 7pm
  • Wild Inn – 5pm
  • The Good Hood – 8pm

Saturday 3 December

  • West Kirby Tap – 3pm
  • Wild Inn – 3pm
  • West Kirby Arts Centre – 7pm
  • White Lion – 3pm
  • West Kirby Social Club – 6pm
  • The Good Hood – 8pm

Sunday 4 December

  • West Kirby Arts Centre – 2pm
  • The Wro Bar Loft – 3pm
  • Wild Inn – 3pm
  • White Lion – 3pm
  • Leaf – 3pm

Entry is free at each venue – except for West Kirby Arts Centre which is charging an entrance fee on Friday and Saturday, with all profits going to Wirral Food Bank.

Volunteers will be on hand at all venues to accept food and cash donations and will be selling raffle tickets.
